This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Store Manager who is ready to grow, develop and take the next step towards Store Management.

About the Role

Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll help lead a high-performing team, drive store results and create exceptional customer experiences every day. You'll play a key role in building team capability, fostering a positive culture and contributing to the ongoing success of one of Adairs' most exciting store formats.

This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership potential who is looking to build their career with a business that actively develops future Store Managers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the Store Manager to lead, inspire and develop the team
• Driving sales performance and delivering commercial outcomes
• Coaching team members to provide exceptional customer experiences
• Leading from the shop floor and creating a positive, high-energy environment
• Supporting visual merchandising standards and store presentation
• Using sales and customer insights to drive performance and productivity
• Contributing to a safe, inclusive and engaging workplace culture
• Helping build a talented team ready for future growth and success

What We're Looking For

• Previous leadership experience in a fast-paced retail environment
• Proven ability to drive sales and team performance
• Strong coaching and people development skills
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
• Confidence managing priorities in a high-volume store environment
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A genuine interest in home furnishings, styling and retail trends
• Ambition to grow your retail leadership career
