About the Opportunity:

As a member of the Technology Leadership team you will be leading the application support, application development and business partnership teams. This role involves overseeing all application development efforts and providing effective support for applications. This is a critical role bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, fostering collaboration across teams and driving the continuous improvement of processes and practices.

  • Conduct comprehensive consultations with the business to identify, document and analyse technology needs, ensuring a clear understanding of their desired outcomes
  • Evaluate and prioritise technology initiatives based on business value, strategic importance, and alignment with overall organisational goals and objectives
  • Lead and manage the application support team, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues and incidents
  • Lead and manage the application development team, overseeing all aspects of software development life cycle
  • Monitor performance of team, identifying areas for improvement & implementing required changes

 

About You:

  • Proven experience partnering in a similar position and industry, with a track record of successful collaboration between the business and technology teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building relationships and influencing stakeholders and convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into feasible technical solutions while evaluating multiple options and making data-driven recommendations
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to elevate team performance to achieve desired outcomes while enhancing individual strengths that drives collective success
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management frameworks is highly desirable
