About The Opportunity:

Provide financial information, analysis and insights to maximise profitability and guide performance across the Adairs brand, with additional input into other Group brands (Mocka and Focus on Furniture), including business partnering to the leadership team, management of the budgeting and forecasting process, and input into the strategic longer-term financial plan.


How you will spend your day:

  • Business partnering through financial modelling and analysis, providing insights and guidance to the leadership team
  • Channel and brand-based reporting and analysis for the Adairs brand and benchmarking across the Group, including stores and online
  • Lead the annual budget and periodic forecast (rolling monthly and official quarterly) process for the Adairs brand, and compile the consolidated result for the Group
  • Consolidated Group management reporting, monthly board packs and bi-annual ASX reporting
  • Input into the Group’s mid-term financial plan and 3-way model (i.e. P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow), as well as alignment to the Group strategy and relevant reporting against progress
  • Project business case development and evaluation as required by business units
  • Ad-hoc projects supporting the CEO/CFO and broader Group leadership team


About You:

  • CPA/CA Qualification
  • Previous experience working with large data sets, analytical and critical mindset identifying issues
  • Effective time management and achievement of deadlines
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Previous experience working in a Retail/FMCG industry (preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence
  • Results driven with excellent communication skills
