About the Opportunity:
In this role you will oversee the technical efforts of the eCommerce platform and vendor management, with a focus on managing enhancements through Digital CI and projects. Also take full ownership of the software development lifecycle, ensuring the successful and timely delivery of high-quality projects while prioritizing platform stability and performance in a live environment.
Team Leadership:
- Provide strategic direction to a collaborative team of internal and outsourced developers.
- Set clear objectives aligned with business goals, emphasizing effective Digital CI delivery.
- Mentor and develop team members within a supportive, growth-oriented environment and foster cross-functional collaboration to build a highly effective team.
Project and Enhancement Management:
- Define project scope, allocate resources, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency in workflows and project delivery.
- Stay updated on eCommerce technology trends and best practices.
- Conduct regular code reviews to uphold quality and coding standards.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Act as a technical liaison, translating business requirements into actionable solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication on project progress and risks.
Quality Assurance and Platform Stability:
- Enforce rigorous quality assurance processes, including automated testing and secure software design.
- Proactively address production issues to ensure platform stability and performance.
eCommerce Platform Support:
- Monitor the eCommerce platform in production, troubleshooting and resolving incidents efficiently.
- Work with developers, vendors, and stakeholders to implement fixes and optimize performance.
Risk and Incident Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring minimal disruption to Digital CI and platform operations
- Resolve conflicts and manage dependencies to maintain project momentum.
Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Build strong relationships with technology partners to ensure service levels and timely resolutions, by setting clear expectations and performance standards
About You:
- Proven technical expertise in eCommerce platforms, vendor management skills and exceptional leadership and communication abilities are essential to drive continuous improvement, resolve incidents efficiently and deliver impactful results
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills along with experience in cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management and vendor coordination capabilities
- Deep understanding of Continuous Integration, quality assurance practices and the latest industry methodologies
- Ability to inspire and guide a diverse team toward shared objectives
