Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Drive financial performance as the owner of the end‑to‑end planning cycle, including budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis. Partnering closely with the Head of Finance and executive team, you’ll deliver forward‑looking, actionable insights, identify risks and opportunities, and translate complex financial data into clear recommendations that support strategic decision‑making in a fast‑paced retail environment.
How you will add value:
- Lead end‑to‑end financial planning cycle (budget, quarterly forecasts, monthly reforecasts)
- Deliver insightful variance analysis and translate results into clear commercial recommendations
- Identify risks and opportunities across sales, margin, CODB and EBIT
- Support scenario modelling and dynamic reforecasting with the Divisional CFO
- Own month‑end performance analysis (P&L, balance sheet, KPIs)
- Prepare high‑quality reporting for executives, Group Finance and Board stakeholders
- Partner with Group Finance and support audit and external reporting requirements
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Merchandising, Supply Chain, Retail, eCommerce & Marketing
- Provide insights on pricing, promotions, cost control and business performance
- Support robust business cases and contribute to key commercial decisions
- Enhance FP&A models, tools and reporting frameworks
- Drive process improvements, automation and finance transformation initiatives
- Mentor and develop Finance Business Partners, uplifting team capability and output quality
About You:
- CA/CPA qualification.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial planning or commercial finance roles
- Good accounting fundamentals combined with commercial acumen
- Advanced financial modelling and Microsoft Excel capabilities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft D365 or TM1 would be advantageous
- Previous experience in similar roles within retail (or FMCG) is preferred.
