About The Opportunity:

Joining a team of 3 and reporting to the Product Manager - Homewares, you will support the delivery of a commercial and cohesive product range in line with the Adairs Product aesthetic and department strategy. Work with stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver a customer centric product range to drive sales and profitability in line with the Adairs values. And we are moving to Chadstone next year.

 

How you will spend your day:

  • Build relationships with external supplier partners and internal stakeholders and ensuring all parties are aligned on approvals, approval timelines and execution to market
  • Product components approved in line with Critical Path deadlines including materials/ fabrics/ labdips and strikeoffs
  • Collaborate with Product Manager and Design team in the development/ creation of product ranges in line with the Adairs Product strategy
    Briefing marketing/ Studio/ VM with photography schedule and briefing of ranges.
  • Accountable for timely Product components approved in line with Critical Path deadlines including materials
  • Ensure suppliers receive timely and accurate communication, artwork and product directives
  • Continuous review of the market to gain an understanding of competitor and market trends both local and overseas.
  • Manage and maintain department documents in a timely and accurate manner

 About You:

  • 3+ years of experience in product coordination, merchandising, or buying, preferably within the homewares or retail sector
  • Experience collaborating with suppliers, including sourcing and maintaining strong relationships to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks at anyone time, meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
