Product Coordinator - Kids

About The Opportunity:

Sitting without our Kids team, this role will play a key role in supporting the Product Managers to delivering commercial and cohesive products across licensed and event ranges in line with the Adairs Kids product aesthetic.  This is an exciting opportunity to work with and develop a diverse range of product categories that encompass both hard and soft goods.


How you will spend your day:

  • Accountable for all product approvals from concept through to Fully Labelled Samples via suppliers and licensors correspondence and portals
  • Foster strong relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders and ensuring all parties are aligned on approvals, approval timelines and execution to market
  • Collaborate with Product Manager and Design team in the development/ creation of product ranges in line with the Adairs Product Strategy
  • Review creative portals to find the next concept style guide that fits within the Adairs Kida product aesthetic
  • Maintaining licensed contract requirements
  • Briefing marketing/ Studio/ VM with photography schedule and briefing of ranges
  • Accountable for timely Product components approved in line with Critical Path deadlines including materials/ fabrics/ lab dips, strike offs and packaging
  • Ensure suppliers receive timely and accurate communication, artwork and product directives. 
  • Continuous review of the market to gain an understanding of competitor and market trends both local and overseas
  • Accountable for reviewing all inspection and test reports have been completed and approved
  • Manage and maintain department documents in a timely and accurate manner
  • General administrative duties for department organisation

About You:

  • Immaculate attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated success is improving processes and increasing efficiencies
  • Previous experience working within retail and product
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
  • Passion for teamwork, collaboration and product
  • Any 3rd party or licensing experience will be highly regarded
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritise 
  • Experience working in a team environment 
  • This role is required to attend the office in person 4 days per week
