About The Opportunity:

Play a key role in curating innovative, high-performing product ranges that align with customer trends and business objectives to ensure sales, gross margin and stock turn targets are met while maintaining strong supplier relationships and product strategies. We are moving to Chadstone mid-2025.


How you will spend your day:

  • Develop and implement strategic plan for Furniture, Rugs & Lighting that aligns with the broader Product strategy
  • Develop and deliver on-trend product ranges that surprise and delight customers
  • Achieve budgeted sales, gross margin and stock turn targets
  • Research and identify new product and promotional opportunities to stay ahead of market trends
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure a cohesive product range in line with style and trend plans
  • Analyse sales data to determine product needs, category performance and markdown strategies
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure innovation, best pricing, quality and value
  • Ensure supplier agreements and compliance are effectively managed
  • Maintain and communicate accurate product data to key stakeholders
  • Deliver promotional calendar plans and manage stock performance
  • Deliver strong workforce planning that enables all direct reports to consistently deliver on their key outcomes

 

 About You:

  • Strong experience in product development, buying, or merchandising
  • A keen eye for trends, customer insights and market opportunities
  • Proven ability to analyse sales performance and make data-driven product decisions
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities across teams
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
