Junior Art Director

Working closely with the Creative Manager, Art Director and wider studio team, you’ll help translate marketing briefs into strong visual ideas and content-first creative.
How you will add value:
- Support the art direction and development of creative campaigns and brand initiatives
- Translate briefs into clear visual concepts, campaign directions and creative frameworks
- Create mood boards and presentations to communicate creative vision and align stakeholders
- Assist in the art direction of photography and video shoots, in studio and on location
- Work with photographers, stylists and production teams to deliver high‑quality visual outcomes
- Collaborate with the social team on content‑first ideas for social, digital and always‑on storytelling
- Identify opportunities to create fresh, engaging brand content that drives engagement
- Translate campaign ideas into clear creative direction for execution teams
- Partner with studio, design and marketing teams to ensure creative intent is maintained
- Contribute new ideas, trends and creative approaches to the evolving brand identity
About You:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a Creative Designer, Graphic Designer or Art Director role (homewares, lifestyle or fashion experience preferred)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Figma)
- An interest in art direction, with some exposure to on-set or shoot environments
- A content-first mindset, with an understanding of what resonates across social and digital channels
- Ability to translate creative concepts into clear direction for designers, photographers and wider teams
- Curious, proactive and creatively driven, with a desire to grow into an Art Director role
- Strong visual eye with a passion for brand, photography, video and content creation
- Experience creating mood boards, visual concepts and presentation decks
- Confident presenting ideas, collaborating with others and evolving work through feedback with a strong creative problem-solving mindset
- Most importantly, you’re an energetic, enthusiastic individual who will bring great energy to the team - whether that’s contributing the finest GIF in the world’s greatest group chat or championing our next Chadstone lunch outing.
