This is a pivotal time to join the business as we enter our next phase of growth. As Senior Planner, you’ll step into a key role with the opportunity to shape category strategy and influence future commercial success for our largest and most strategically important category, Bed Linen. You will drive performance through commercial planning, data-led insights and cross-functional collaboration.


How you will spend your day:

  • Develop and implement merchandise plans, including sales and profit forecasts, range and inventory plans and replenishment strategies
  • Analyse sales and profit trends, inventory levels, and product performance to provide actionable insights to optimize product assortments and maximize profitability
  • Lead and mentor a team, driving capability, accuracy and a culture of continuous improvement
  • Partner with key stakeholders to align planning strategies with broader business goals and customer needs
  • Oversee allocations, stock management and reporting while contributing to ongoing process improvements and planning initiatives
  • Prepare and analyse detail reports on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to stay informed of industry trends and identify opportunities for growth


About You:

  • 5+ years’ experience in merchandise planning within a fast-paced retail environment
  • Experience with developing and implementing merchandise plans that align with sales trends and buying patterns
  • Proven ability to monitor and manage inventory levels to optimise stock flow and minimise overstock or stockouts
  • Experience working cross-functionally with supply chain teams to improve inventory allocation and distribution efficiency
  • Strong financial acumen with a track record of managing budgets in alignment with merchandising and business goals
  • Skilled in analysing gross margin, markdown performance, and profitability to drive informed buying decisions
  • Proficient in reviewing and adjusting financial plans to accurately forecast sales and manage open-to-buy budgets
  • Experience leading and mentoring junior team members and working cross-functionally with stakeholders to deliver aligned outcomes
  • Proficient in interpreting complex sales data to forecast demand accurately.
